Strawberry Peak Hike

I had heard about Strawberry Peak in the Angeles National Forest for a good while. But didn’t really see many enticing photos of the views from there. I followed the path from the Strawberry Peak via Redbox Canyon from the AllTrails app. Had some trouble looking for the starting point but it was on the left side of the road, directly opposite of the parking area. There was not many people on the trail at 7am, but the parking lot was full and I did have to park on the side of the road. It was nice and cool on the way to Strawberry Peak, arrived there around 9am. It was a total of 4 miles there from the parking spot. I wouldn’t consider it a difficult hike, but because it was the first hike of the year with good distance, my legs did get tired. I would suggest warming up and doing smaller hikes before doing this hike.

The views on the way to the peak and from the peak did not disappoint. It is perhaps some of my favorite views in the Angeles Forest. You can see nearly the entire city of Los Angeles from there. And that was totally worth it. Checkout some of the shots I took from there.
